Responsibilities
- Provide Technical Support: Assist in the installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of federal desktop systems and network infrastructure.
- System Administration: Monitor system performance, maintain hardware inventory, and ensure compliance with federal security standards (NIST).
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of system configurations, user accounts, and incident reports.
- User Assistance: Serve as the primary point of contact for federal staff IT inquiries and help desk support.
- Security Compliance: Participate in regular security training and assist in the implementation of IT security protocols.
- Critical Infrastructure: Support the maintenance of mission-critical data centers and communication networks.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; or 2 years of equivalent experience.
- Citizenship: U.S. Citizenship is required for this position.
- Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with Windows Server, Active Directory, basic networking concepts (TCP/IP), and hardware troubleshooting.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with senior leadership.
- Adaptability: Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to the fast-paced federal environment.
