Responsibilities
- Technical Support: Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 support to federal employees regarding hardware, software, and network connectivity issues.
- System Maintenance: Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of federal computer systems and peripherals.
- Security Compliance: Ensure all IT operations adhere to federal security protocols, FISMA requirements, and agency policies.
- Data Management: Help maintain accurate records of system configurations and assist in data migration projects.
- User Training: Conduct basic training sessions for staff on new software applications and security best practices.
- Incident Response: Participate in troubleshooting efforts to resolve IT outages and service interruptions promptly.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (OR equivalent combination of education and experience).
- Citizenship: U.S. Citizenship is mandatory for this federal position.
- Clearance: Must be eligible to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance.
