Responsibilities
- Tier 1/2 Helpdesk Operations: Provide exceptional technical support to federal employees via phone, email, and ticketing systems to resolve hardware and software issues efficiently.
- System Administration: Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktop environments, printers, scanners, and mobile devices running on Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android.
- Network & Security Support: Assist in maintaining network connectivity, VPN configurations, and ensuring compliance with federal IT security standards and NISPOM regulations.
- Asset Management: Maintain accurate records of IT hardware inventory and assist in the physical tracking of government assets.
- User Training: Conduct basic training sessions for end-users on software applications and security best practices.
- Incident Reporting: Document all support interactions and incident reports in the ServiceNow ticketing system.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required. Associate’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is a plus.
- Citizenship: U.S. Citizenship is required to obtain the necessary government security clearance.
- Experience: No prior professional IT experience required; we value enthusiasm and willingness to learn.
- Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and a basic understanding of computer operating systems.
- Soft Skills: Strong customer service skills, excellent verbal and written communication, and the ability to work well in a team environment.
- Clearance: Must be willing to undergo a background investigation and obtain a Secret clearance.
