Responsibilities

  • Tier 1/2 Helpdesk Operations: Provide exceptional technical support to federal employees via phone, email, and ticketing systems to resolve hardware and software issues efficiently.
  • System Administration: Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktop environments, printers, scanners, and mobile devices running on Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android.
  • Network & Security Support: Assist in maintaining network connectivity, VPN configurations, and ensuring compliance with federal IT security standards and NISPOM regulations.
  • Asset Management: Maintain accurate records of IT hardware inventory and assist in the physical tracking of government assets.
  • User Training: Conduct basic training sessions for end-users on software applications and security best practices.
  • Incident Reporting: Document all support interactions and incident reports in the ServiceNow ticketing system.

Qualifications

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED required. Associate’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is a plus.
  • Citizenship: U.S. Citizenship is required to obtain the necessary government security clearance.
  • Experience: No prior professional IT experience required; we value enthusiasm and willingness to learn.
  • Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and a basic understanding of computer operating systems.
