Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1 technical support and troubleshooting for federal staff regarding hardware, software, and network connectivity issues.
- Manage and track incoming service requests and tickets using government-approved service management tools.
- Assist in the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of workstations, printers, and peripherals.
- Ensure strict adherence to federal cybersecurity policies, data protection regulations, and compliance standards.
- Perform routine system backups, updates, and inventory management of IT assets.
- Collaborate with senior engineers to document technical processes and create user guides.
Qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship is mandatory for all federal positions.
- Associate’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and operating systems (Windows/Linux).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical problems efficiently.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with diverse personnel.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Clearance (background check required).
