Responsibilities
- Lead Federal IT Operations: Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of federal information systems to ensure 99.9% uptime and security.
- Compliance & Security: Ensure all technical activities comply with federal standards, NIST frameworks, and agency-specific security protocols (FISMA).
- Stakeholder Communication: Act as the primary technical liaison between federal clients, development teams, and executive stakeholders.
- System Modernization: Spearhead initiatives to modernize legacy systems, improving efficiency and data accessibility for government agencies.
- Incident Management: Lead troubleshooting efforts for critical system failures and coordinate emergency response plans.
- Process Improvement: Identify operational bottlenecks and implement best practices to streamline federal project delivery.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Certifications: Active Secret or Top Secret security clearance is required; CISSP or PMP certification is a strong plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in federal IT environments or federal contracting.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure), Agile methodologies, and legacy system migration.
- Communication: Exceptional ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
- Work Authorization: Must be a U.S. Citizen and eligible for government clearance.
