Responsibilities
- Assist in the accurate processing of federal pension applications and benefit requests.
- Conduct research on federal retirement regulations and pension plan updates to ensure compliance.
- Provide exceptional customer service and support to federal employees regarding their benefits inquiries.
- Maintain detailed and confidential records of pension transactions and employee data.
- Collaborate with senior staff to ensure adherence to federal and state regulations.
- Prepare and organize reports related to pension plan performance and employee status.
- Handle data entry and filing with a high degree of accuracy.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field is a plus.
- Previous experience in administrative support, customer service, or government contracting is preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to handle sensitive financial data with strict confidentiality.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and basic data entry skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with diverse internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced office environment.
