Responsibilities
- Assist federal employees with inquiries regarding the Federal Employee Retirement System (FERS) and Civil Service Retirement System (CSRS).
- Process pension calculations, eligibility verifications, and benefit estimates with a high degree of accuracy.
- Review and update employee pension records to ensure compliance with OPM regulations and federal privacy laws.
- Research and resolve complex pension discrepancies by coordinating with agency retirement offices.
- Provide exceptional customer service via phone, email, and secure web portals.
- Participate in training sessions to stay updated on federal retirement policy changes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to perform detailed data entry and calculations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for explaining complex benefits to diverse audiences.
- Self-motivated individual capable of working independently in a remote environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- U.S. Citizenship required for federal employment eligibility.
