Responsibilities
- Provide accurate information to federal employees regarding pension eligibility and calculations.
- Process retirement applications and benefit requests with high attention to detail.
- Update and maintain employee records in federal databases.
- Resolve customer inquiries regarding pension plans and federal benefits.
- Collaborate with senior analysts to ensure compliance with federal regulations.
- Assist in the development of educational materials on retirement planning.
Qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship required for federal employment.
- High school diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED); a degree in business, finance, or public administration is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with high volume of inquiries.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications (Microsoft Office Suite).
