Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth research on federal legislation, regulatory changes, and public policy trends to support client initiatives.
- Assist senior analysts in preparing briefing papers, memos, and stakeholder reports with high attention to detail.
- Coordinate and schedule meetings with government officials, industry leaders, and internal team members.
- Maintain accurate records of legislative activities and ensure compliance with federal reporting standards.
- Support the drafting and editing of press releases and communication materials for federal programs.
- Analyze data sets related to government spending and program performance to identify key insights.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Political Science, Public Administration, International Relations, or a related field.
- U.S. Citizenship and eligibility to obtain a Top Secret security clearance (or ability to pass a background check).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to simplify complex policy concepts.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Demonstrated interest in federal government operations and public affairs.
