Responsibilities
- Assist in administering veteran benefit programs with accuracy and compliance
- Process and review applications for federal benefits and services
- Communicate with veterans, families, and stakeholders regarding program eligibility
- Maintain detailed records using federal databases and documentation systems
- Support outreach initiatives to connect veterans with available resources
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve service delivery
- Participate in ongoing training to stay current on federal regulations
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship required
- High school diploma or GED (Bachelor's degree preferred)
- Basic knowledge of federal regulations and procedures
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
