Responsibilities
- Process and maintain accurate records and files in accordance with federal privacy and security standards.
- Perform routine data entry and document management tasks using modern office software and government databases.
- Answer incoming telephone inquiries and direct calls to the appropriate staff members or departments.
- Sort, distribute, and prepare incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and interoffice correspondence.
- Assist in the preparation of meeting materials, agendas, and presentation documents.
- Support senior staff with administrative projects and special assignments as needed.
- Ensure the office environment remains organized, professional, and welcoming.
Qualifications
- Must be a United States Citizen or eligible to obtain citizenship.
- High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED) required; some college coursework preferred but not mandatory.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and basic computer skills.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to pass a federal background investigation and drug screen.
- Must be able to lift and move light office supplies and equipment (up to 20 lbs).
