Responsibilities
- Manage high-volume incoming inquiries via phone, email, and in-person interactions with professionalism and efficiency.
- Assist in the preparation, filing, and maintenance of official state documents and records.
- Update and maintain accurate databases and information systems using government software.
- Coordinate meeting schedules, travel arrangements, and departmental events.
- Prepare correspondence, memoranda, and reports for department leadership.
- Support the public outreach team by distributing informational materials.
- Perform data entry and ensure data integrity across all records.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Public Administration, Business, or a related field is strongly preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and general computer literacy.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate complex information clearly.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards.
- Valid Driver’s License and access to reliable transportation (preferred).
