Responsibilities
- Perform accurate data entry and record management for government documents and databases.
- Assist visitors and citizens by answering inquiries and directing them to the appropriate department.
- File and maintain physical and electronic records in strict compliance with state and local regulations.
- Prepare and distribute correspondence, memos, reports, and other official documents.
- Support department heads with administrative tasks, scheduling, and special projects.
- Operate standard office equipment including copiers, scanners, and fax machines.
- Ensure a professional and welcoming environment for all guests entering the office.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Basic knowledge of government processes or customer service experience is a plus.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
