Our 12-week onboarding program covers federal, state, and private grant processes. You'll work alongside senior writers to develop compelling proposals for education, healthcare, and environmental initiatives. Responsibilities
- Research and identify relevant grant opportunities from federal agencies, foundations, and corporations
- Write persuasive grant proposals, budgets, and reports aligned with funder priorities
- Collaborate with program staff to gather impact data and organizational needs
- Maintain accurate grant calendars and submission deadlines using CRM systems
- Analyze funding trends and recommend new strategic partnerships
- Support donor stewardship through acknowledgment reports and impact updates
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Exceptional writing and editing skills with attention to detail
- Strong research abilities and proficiency with online databases (e.g., Candid, Foundation Directory)
- Basic understanding of nonprofit financial reporting principles
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Commitment to social justice and community development values
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace
