Responsibilities
- Assist in the maintenance and troubleshooting of local area networks (LAN) and wide area networks (WAN).
- Perform routine data entry and database management tasks to ensure accurate record-keeping.
- Provide technical support to internal staff regarding hardware and software issues.
- Monitor system performance and report technical anomalies to senior IT personnel.
- Participate in cybersecurity awareness training and compliance activities.
- Help implement new software updates and security patches across government systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline digital workflows.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required; Associate’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of computer hardware and software operations.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive government data.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to undergo a background check and security clearance process.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) is highly desirable.
