Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain complex IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and cloud environments for federal clients.
- Provide advanced technical troubleshooting and Tier 3 support to resolve complex system issues.
- Ensure strict compliance with federal regulations, NIST security standards, and agency policies.
- Conduct regular security audits, vulnerability assessments, and system updates to maintain high security clearance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement scalable IT solutions.
- Train junior staff and document technical processes and procedures.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in systems administration or IT support within a government or federal contracting environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Active Secret clearance or ability to obtain one is highly preferred.
- Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) are a plus.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, virtualization, and cybersecurity best practices.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interfacing with stakeholders.
