Responsibilities
- Oversee the architecture and security of federal information systems.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and security audits to ensure compliance with FISMA and NIST standards.
- Implement and maintain security information and event management (SIEM) tools.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new technologies securely.
- Lead incident response efforts for cybersecurity threats.
- Provide technical guidance and training to junior IT staff.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in IT security, network administration, or systems engineering.
- Active Top Secret Security Clearance required.
- Experience with federal IT frameworks (FedRAMP, DISA STIGs).
- Strong knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and protocols.
