Responsibilities
- Technical Support: Provide first-level technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network connectivity issues for federal staff.
- System Administration: Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of computer systems, operating systems, and peripheral equipment.
- Security Compliance: Support the implementation of security protocols and assist in maintaining the integrity of federal data systems in compliance with OMB Circular A-123.
- Network Assistance: Monitor local area networks (LAN) and wide area networks (WAN) to ensure optimal performance and resolve connectivity issues.
- User Management: Assist in the creation and management of user accounts, ensuring proper access control and clearance verification.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of technical issues, resolutions, and system configurations.
Qualifications
- Citizenship: Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
- Technical Skills: Basic knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking concepts.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with individuals at all levels.
- Adaptability: Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to changing federal regulations and requirements.
