Responsibilities
- Provide tier-2 technical support for federal agency hardware and software systems.
- Assist in the configuration and maintenance of Local Area Networks (LAN) and Wide Area Networks (WAN).
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure 99.9% uptime for federal operations.
- Document technical procedures and maintain accurate logs of system changes.
- Collaborate with senior engineers to implement security patches and updates.
- Conduct basic cybersecurity awareness training for new federal employees.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Must be eligible to obtain a Public Trust security clearance.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, Active Directory, and basic scripting languages (PowerShell/Batch).
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to pass a background investigation and drug screen.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to client sites within the Albuquerque metro area.
