Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1 technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network peripherals.
- Assist in the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of workstations and mobile devices.
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate records of IT assets and user requests.
- Respond to helpdesk tickets and inquiries via phone, email, and in-person support.
- Collaborate with senior IT staff to resolve complex technical issues and implement solutions.
- Conduct routine system checks and assist in software updates and patches.
- Document all support interactions and technical procedures for internal knowledge bases.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required; Associate’s degree in IT or related field is a plus.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with Windows operating systems.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background investigation and drug screening.
- Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy in data entry and reporting.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
- Valid California driver's license is preferred.
