Responsibilities
- Provide first-level technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network connectivity issues.
- Maintain accurate records of technical tickets and service requests using government ticketing systems.
- Assist in the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of computer hardware and peripherals.
- Perform routine data entry and administrative duties to support agency operations.
- Communicate complex technical information clearly to non-technical users in a professional manner.
- Collaborate with senior IT staff to identify system improvements and implement solutions.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree in Computer Science or a related field is a plus.
- Basic understanding of computer hardware, operating systems (Windows), and networking concepts.
- Strong customer service orientation with the ability to interact professionally with diverse populations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to obtain required government security clearances.
- Valid Driver’s License (may be required for travel between departments).
