Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to City employees regarding hardware, software, and network connectivity issues.
- Respond to help desk tickets in a timely and professional manner.
- Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of desktop computers and peripherals.
- Perform routine system updates and patch management under supervision.
- Document technical issues and resolutions in the ticketing system.
- Collaborate with senior IT staff to implement new technologies.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent (Associate’s degree in IT or related field preferred).
- Basic understanding of computer hardware and operating systems.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid Driver’s License (may be required for on-site support).
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
