Responsibilities

  • Provide tier-one technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network connectivity issues.
  • Assist in the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of workstations, printers, and peripherals.
  • Monitor system logs and performance metrics to proactively identify and resolve potential issues.
  • Document all technical incidents and resolutions in the Service Management database (ITSM).
  • Collaborate with senior IT staff to implement new software patches and security updates.
  • Conduct regular hardware inspections and inventory management for assigned departments.
  • Respond to help desk tickets via email and phone within established Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
  • Basic understanding of Windows operating systems, Active Directory concepts, and networking fundamentals.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues independently.
