Responsibilities
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for hardware and software issues for government employees.
- Assist in the deployment and configuration of new devices, including laptops and printers.
- Monitor and maintain the local area network (LAN) and ensure system security compliance.
- Document technical issues and resolutions in the IT Service Management system.
- Conduct regular IT asset inventory and assist with user training on new software applications.
- Respond to help desk tickets and resolve inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree in Information Technology or related field preferred.
- Basic knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems (Windows/Mac), and peripherals.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be willing to undergo a thorough background check and drug screening.
- Valid Driver's License is a plus.
