Responsibilities
- Assist in the processing and verification of pension benefit applications and calculations.
- Provide high-quality customer service and support to current and retired members regarding their pension plans.
- Review and maintain accurate records of employee contributions and vesting schedules.
- Prepare routine reports and correspondence related to retirement plan status.
- Conduct research on government regulations and pension plan provisions to ensure compliance.
- Collaborate with senior analysts to improve pension plan processes and efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work with large datasets.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel and Word.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Understanding of basic government regulations and privacy laws (HIPAA/GDPR) is a plus.
- Ability to pass a background check and obtain a government security clearance.
