Responsibilities
- Process and adjudicate pension benefit claims with accuracy and speed.
- Review pension plan applications and verify eligibility against federal guidelines.
- Manage incoming inquiries via phone and email during night shift hours.
- Ensure strict compliance with government regulations and data security protocols.
- Update and maintain accurate records in the agency’s secure database systems.
- Collaborate with the day-shift team to resolve complex pension discrepancies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in government benefits, pension administration, or financial services.
- Must be available to work a rotating night shift schedule (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM or 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM).
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and database management systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to federal compliance standards.
