Responsibilities
- Member Assistance: Answer phone calls and emails from current and retired members regarding pension status, benefit calculations, and eligibility requirements.
- Administrative Support: Process new pension enrollment forms, retirement applications, and benefit change requests with high accuracy.
- Record Keeping: Maintain and update accurate electronic and physical records for all active pension participants and retirees.
- Data Entry: Input and verify sensitive financial and personal data into the pension management system.
- Document Management: Organize and file correspondence, ensuring all documents are easily retrievable for future audits or member requests.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with senior pension analysts to resolve complex member inquiries and improve service delivery.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree or coursework in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration is a plus.
- Experience: No prior experience required. We provide on-the-job training for the right candidate.
- Skills: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) is essential.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex information clearly to the public.
