Responsibilities
- Analyze legislative proposals and regulatory impacts using quantitative and qualitative research methods
- Prepare concise policy briefs and executive summaries for senior leadership
- Coordinate stakeholder engagement sessions with community organizations and industry partners
- Support data collection and statistical analysis using Excel and government reporting systems
- Assist with drafting agency reports and responding to public information requests
- Track legislation progress and maintain accurate policy databases
- Participate in cross-departmental task forces on emerging policy issues
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Political Science, Economics, or related field
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines
- Basic understanding of research methodologies and data analysis
- U.S. citizenship and ability to pass required background checks
- Valid Colorado driver's license (may be required for travel)
