Responsibilities
- Conduct legislative research and draft policy memos on local government initiatives
- Analyze quantitative and qualitative data to assess program effectiveness
- Coordinate with community stakeholders and agency representatives
- Support public hearings and community engagement sessions
- Prepare monthly progress reports for senior leadership
- Assist in developing policy implementation frameworks
- Track emerging trends in urban governance and best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Policy, Political Science, Urban Studies, or related field
- Strong written communication skills with attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and data visualization tools
- Basic understanding of government budgeting processes
- Ability to work collaboratively in diverse teams
- Commitment to public service and ethical governance
- US citizenship or permanent residency required
- Valid driver's license (may be required for field visits)
