Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive research on economic development policies and programs
- Analyze demographic, economic, and workforce data to inform strategic initiatives
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior leadership and stakeholders
- Support grant application processes and compliance documentation
- Assist in coordinating community outreach events and stakeholder meetings
- Track legislative developments and regulatory changes affecting economic development
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on project implementation and evaluation
Qualifications
- Recent bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Economics, Urban Planning, or related field
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret complex data sets
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills
- Basic understanding of Tennessee's economic landscape preferred
