Responsibilities
- Process and verify incoming applications and documents for accuracy and compliance.
- Manage and maintain organized digital and physical records for departmental files.
- Communicate with the public, vendors, and internal staff via phone, email, and in-person inquiries.
- Assist in drafting correspondence, reports, and memos using Microsoft Office Suite.
- Perform high-volume data entry tasks to update state databases and inventory systems.
- Support the department with various clerical duties and special projects as assigned.
- Ensure a professional and welcoming environment for all visitors and callers.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is required; Associate’s degree or relevant experience is preferred.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation required.
- Must be willing to undergo a background check and drug screening.
