Responsibilities
- Collect, compile, and verify complex datasets to support legislative and budgetary reporting.
- Perform high-velocity data entry with a strict focus on accuracy and quality assurance.
- Assist in the preparation of comprehensive reports, briefings, and correspondence for senior leadership.
- Organize and maintain both physical and digital records in strict compliance with state regulations.
- Conduct research on public policy topics to provide background materials and support decision-making.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify process improvements and operational efficiencies.
- Answer inquiries from internal and external stakeholders regarding agency services.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field is a strong plus.
- Technical Skills: Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Attention to Detail: Proven ability to manage high volumes of data with precision and minimal errors.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate complex information clearly.
- Adaptability: Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple competing priorities.
- Transportation: Valid Texas Driver’s License and reliable transportation are preferred for occasional site visits.
