Responsibilities
- Monitor and enforce local, state, and federal environmental regulations
- Conduct site inspections and compliance audits for industrial facilities
- Develop and implement pollution prevention programs
- Prepare regulatory reports and maintain compliance documentation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on sustainability initiatives
- Provide technical guidance to businesses and community stakeholders
- Participate in emergency response for environmental incidents
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field
- 3+ years of regulatory compliance experience
- Strong knowledge of EPA and Colorado environmental regulations
- Certified Environmental Auditor (CEA) preferred
- Proficient in data analysis and regulatory reporting software
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Valid Colorado driver's license
- Ability to work flexible hours including occasional field inspections
