Responsibilities
- Conduct regulatory inspections and environmental compliance audits across industrial and commercial facilities
- Analyze environmental data to ensure adherence to federal/state regulations (EPA/FDEP)
- Develop compliance reports and enforcement recommendations for regulatory actions
- Coordinate with local agencies on pollution prevention initiatives and public education programs
- Investigate environmental complaints and hazardous material incidents
- Assist in drafting regulatory policies and procedural updates
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Biology, Chemistry, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of regulatory compliance experience or equivalent
- Valid Florida driver's license with clean record
- Proficiency in environmental data analysis software (e.g., GIS, ArcGIS)
- Strong knowledge of federal/state environmental regulations (RCRA, CAA, CWA)
- Certified Environmental Compliance Manager (CECM) preferred
- Excellent written/verbal communication skills
