Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive environmental compliance inspections and enforcement activities
- Analyze environmental data to assess pollution levels and regulatory violations
- Develop and implement environmental protection programs for industrial facilities
- Prepare detailed technical reports and policy recommendations for senior leadership
- Coordinate with federal, state, and tribal agencies on environmental initiatives
- Provide expert testimony in environmental compliance hearings and legal proceedings
- Lead public outreach and education campaigns on environmental regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Biology, Chemistry, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in environmental regulatory compliance
- Thorough knowledge of federal environmental regulations (Clean Air Act, Clean Water Act)
- Advanced proficiency in environmental data analysis software and GIS systems
- Valid federal security clearance (or ability to obtain)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to travel up to 20% for field inspections and meetings
