Responsibilities
- Conduct on-site inspections of industrial facilities to verify compliance with state environmental regulations
- Analyze air quality, water discharge, and hazardous waste data using regulatory reporting systems
- Develop compliance action plans and provide technical guidance to regulated entities
- Prepare detailed inspection reports and regulatory enforcement documentation
- Collaborate with legal teams to address complex compliance violations
- Train facility personnel on environmental regulatory requirements
- Monitor emerging environmental policies and recommend procedural updates
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of environmental compliance or regulatory experience
- Texas Department of State Health Services Asbestos Inspector certification preferred
- Proficiency in environmental data management software (e.g., EIMS, CEMS)
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret complex regulatory documents
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Valid Texas driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to travel up to 30% within North Texas region
