- Coordinate with state agencies on environmental policy initiatives
- Lead community education workshops on sustainability practices
- Manage environmental permit applications and renewal processes
- Respond to citizen environmental complaints and inquiries
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Biology, or related field
- Minimum 2 years of environmental compliance experience
- Valid California driver's license
- Proficiency in environmental data analysis software
- Strong written communication skills for technical reporting
- Certification in Hazardous Materials Management (HAZWOPER)
- Experience with GIS mapping and environmental databases
- Knowledge of California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) regulations
