Responsibilities
- Conduct environmental compliance inspections and enforcement activities
- Analyze water quality data and prepare regulatory reports
- Develop pollution prevention strategies for industrial facilities
- Coordinate with local governments on environmental programs
- Train staff on regulatory updates and best practices
- Manage grant-funded environmental projects
- Represent the agency in stakeholder meetings
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or related field
- 3+ years of regulatory compliance experience
- Valid Florida driver's license
- Knowledge of FDEP regulations (Chapter 62-5)
- Proficiency in GIS mapping software
- Strong analytical and report writing skills
- Ability to work independently in field conditions
