Responsibilities
- Conduct field inspections of industrial facilities and coastal zones to ensure compliance with state environmental regulations

- Prepare detailed compliance reports and enforcement documentation for legal proceedings
- Collaborate with local government agencies on stormwater management initiatives
- Develop educational materials for businesses on environmental best practices
- Testify as expert witness in regulatory hearings and legal proceedings
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Biology, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in environmental compliance or regulatory enforcement
- Valid Virginia driver's license with clean driving record
- Proficiency with GIS mapping and environmental data analysis software
- Strong knowledge of federal/state environmental regulations (EPA, VDEQ)
- Excellent written communication skills for technical reporting
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
