Responsibilities
- Conduct environmental impact assessments and NEPA compliance reviews for federal land projects
- Develop and implement natural resource management plans for protected areas
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to resolve environmental compliance issues
- Prepare technical reports and recommendations for senior leadership
- Monitor ecosystem health and recommend mitigation strategies
- Advise on policy development related to environmental stewardship
- Manage stakeholder engagement with tribal, state, and local partners
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Biology, Natural Resource Management, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in environmental compliance or conservation
- Familiarity with NEPA, ESA, and CWA regulations
- Strong analytical and report-writing capabilities
- Ability to obtain and maintain a federal security clearance
- GIS proficiency and fieldwork experience
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
