Responsibilities
- Conduct environmental site assessments and compliance inspections for industrial facilities
- Analyze water quality data and prepare regulatory reports for the San Antonio River Basin
- Collaborate with local government agencies on pollution prevention initiatives
- Develop educational outreach materials for environmental compliance
- Review and process environmental permit applications
- Investigate citizen complaints regarding environmental violations
- Prepare technical documentation for enforcement actions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Biology, Chemistry, or related field
- Minimum 2 years of environmental compliance experience
- Texas Environmental Specialist Certification (or ability to obtain within 6 months)
- Proficiency in GIS software and environmental data analysis tools
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Valid Texas driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
