Responsibilities
- Process and maintain accurate veteran benefit records using federal databases
- Assist veterans and their families with inquiries via phone, email, and in-person
- Coordinate administrative tasks including scheduling, document filing, and data entry
- Support departmental operations through inventory management and supply coordination
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with federal regulations
- Prepare routine reports and correspondence for internal and external stakeholders
- Participate in ongoing professional development programs
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred but not required)
- U.S. citizenship (mandatory for federal positions)
- Basic computer proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to pass federal background check and drug screening
- Willingness to complete federal onboarding training
