Job Description
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Federal Administrative Officer to support our operations in Charlotte, NC. In this pivotal role, you will ensure the smooth functioning of federal programs by managing administrative operations, coordinating with various stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with federal regulations. You will play a critical part in maintaining the efficiency of our federal mission.
Key Highlights:
- Support senior leadership with executive-level correspondence and meeting logistics.
- Manage office budgets and resource allocation.
- Ensure strict adherence to federal procurement and compliance standards.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily office operations, including filing, record-keeping, and inventory management.
- Prepare and edit complex federal reports, briefings, and correspondence.
- Coordinate inter-agency communications and schedule high-level meetings.
- Maintain compliance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and agency-specific policies.
- Process travel requests, expense reports, and procurement orders.
- Assist in the onboarding and training of new administrative staff.
- Monitor office equipment and facilities to ensure a productive work environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in federal or government administrative roles.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a focus on clarity and professionalism.
- Strong understanding of federal regulations, compliance procedures, and office management best practices.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and government-specific software (e.g., JHA, eLMIS).
- Ability to pass a background investigation and security clearance (if required).
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
