Responsibilities
- Process veteran benefit claims with 99% accuracy within federal guidelines
- Coordinate cross-departmental communications using VA systems
- Manage confidential veteran records in compliance with HIPAA and FERPA
- Conduct eligibility assessments for federal assistance programs
- Generate weekly payroll reports for 50+ personnel
- Train staff on federal compliance procedures
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration or related field
- 3+ years federal administrative experience
- Active Security Clearance (or ability to obtain)
- Proficiency in VA VISTA and HRConnect systems
- Familiarity with 38 CFR and PL 115-410 regulations
- VA-accredited benefits specialist certification
