Responsibilities
- Process veteran benefit claims with 99% accuracy and weekly payment processing
- Manage confidential documentation and maintain strict compliance with federal regulations
- Coordinate cross-departmental communications for veteran case resolution
- Analyze data trends to improve service delivery efficiency
- Conduct eligibility assessments for federal assistance programs
- Train new staff on VA protocols and payment systems
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship required with active security clearance eligibility
- Minimum 3 years federal administrative experience
- Proficiency in VA systems (VBMS, VBA-Web) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge of federal pay regulations (FPM, Title 5)
- Ability to handle sensitive information with HIPAA/privacy compliance
- TS/BI clearance or ability to obtain within 30 days
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration or related field preferred
