Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain confidential veteran records and documentation systems
- Coordinate scheduling, correspondence, and communications for department leadership
- Process administrative forms and ensure compliance with federal regulations (VA, OMB, GSA)
- Support budget tracking, procurement requests, and fiscal documentation
- Assist in onboarding new team members and training on administrative protocols
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support veteran service initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Business, or related field
- 3+ years of administrative experience in federal/government environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and federal recordkeeping systems
- Knowledge of federal procurement, privacy (HIPAA/FERPA), and retention policies
- Exceptional written communication and documentation skills
- Ability to obtain and maintain government security clearance
- Experience with VA-specific systems preferred but not required
