About the Role:
The Federal Administrative Specialist will be responsible for the seamless execution of daily office operations, ensuring that federal reporting requirements are met and that inter-agency communications are handled with the utmost confidentiality and professionalism.
Responsibilities
- Manage high-volume correspondence, emails, and official federal document routing.
- Prepare, compile, and format complex federal reports, briefings, and presentations for leadership review.
- Coordinate travel arrangements and meeting logistics for federal officials and senior staff.
- Maintain and secure confidential filing systems, ensuring full compliance with federal data privacy standards.
- Assist with the procurement process, including purchase order generation and vendor communication.
- Monitor deadlines for federal compliance certifications and ensure timely submission.
- Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders regarding administrative inquiries.
Qualifications
- Citizenship: Must be a United States Citizen (mandatory for federal positions).
- Clearance: Possession of a Secret Clearance or willingness to undergo a background investigation is required.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of administrative experience in a government, military, or highly regulated corporate environment.
- Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and document management systems.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional ability to maintain accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with senior government officials.
