Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain confidential federal records with meticulous attention to compliance with agency regulations
- Coordinate executive-level correspondence, scheduling, and documentation for senior leadership
- Process financial transactions, procurements, and administrative documentation using federal systems
- Serve as primary liaison between federal agencies and external stakeholders in the Detroit metro area
- Develop and implement administrative workflow improvements to enhance operational efficiency
- Provide comprehensive administrative support for federal grant programs and community initiatives
- Conduct quality assurance reviews for all outgoing federal communications and reports
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 3 years of administrative experience in government or regulated environment
- Proficiency with federal systems (e.g., SAM.gov, FPDS-NG, GSA Advantage)
- Expert knowledge of federal procurement regulations (FAR) and record management standards
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with executive-level professionalism
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities in fast-paced federal settings
- Active security clearance eligibility or ability to obtain one
- Certification in Federal Contract Management (FCM) or Public Administration preferred
