Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain confidential veteran records ensuring HIPAA compliance and federal data security protocols
- Coordinate administrative workflows across multiple departments including scheduling, correspondence, and document processing
- Process financial transactions and reconcile budgets using federal accounting systems (e.g., SAP)
- Support veterans and families by providing accurate information on VA benefits and services
- Implement and optimize office procedures to enhance operational efficiency
- Prepare official reports and correspondence for leadership review
- Train staff on administrative policies and procedures
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Business Administration or related field (Bachelor's preferred)
- Minimum 2 years of federal administrative experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Familiarity with federal records management and privacy regulations
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance
- Experience with veterans' affairs systems or federal healthcare environments
