Responsibilities
- Manage and prioritize incoming correspondence, ensuring timely responses to inquiries from veterans and stakeholders
- Coordinate complex scheduling for leadership, including meetings, travel arrangements, and conference logistics
- Maintain accurate digital and physical records using federal compliance standards (FOIA, Privacy Act)
- Prepare detailed reports, briefings, and official documents for internal and external dissemination
- Oversee procurement processes, budget tracking, and expenditure reconciliation within federal guidelines
- Provide administrative support to cross-functional teams during audits, reviews, and special projects
- Utilize advanced Microsoft Office Suite to create presentations, spreadsheets, and databases
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 3 years of administrative experience in federal/government environment
- Proficiency in federal regulations, records management, and compliance protocols
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities with attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills with ability to manage competing priorities
- Active security clearance eligibility or ability to obtain one
